i’m making a playlist titled “songs that destroy my soul” and right now it just consists of rivers and roads, games shows touch our lives, and three manchester orchestra songs.

Rivers and Roads by The Head and the Heart is a disease. it’s been on repeat in my apartment for almost an hour. i can’t stop. i want to cry.

tonight i gained perspective on so many things. most importantly, i looked at my past and realized just how different i am now than i was a few years ago. it’s an incredible thing. i also thought a lot about past relationships and it made me want friday night so i can see my boyfriend even more. i’ve never been in a truly honest and healthy relationship before…only toxic ones...

i’m wondering if i could spend some time on tumblr responding to anything with just Black Book/Dylan Moran gifs. i may have to try that at some point. i thought of this because this gif basically sums up my daily life.

2 pages, 2-3 sources per page, and at least 3 different types of sources…on a paper about myself. this seems excessive.

i just want to put Murder in the City by Avett Brothers on repeat and sleep for days.

Empire Records is LITERALLY a perfect movie. i wanted to list a bunch of my favorite parts but the list got so long is was basically becoming a detailed description of the entire movie. just…the characters are so wonderful and every time i watch it, it puts the biggest smile on my face.

what an amazing night! watched the super bowl at my friend’s house with some of the most wonderful people i know. ate delicious food (that i wish i was still eating right now). also got very drunk with my friend sally due to celebratory shots of tequila. definitely needed a night like this with such great friends.

did i mention i have a new obsession with Portlandia? i watched a few episodes last night when a bunch of friends were over and it is soooooo good.
